Well, it's time for another Stacking Stars video! SHORT DESCRIPTION: If you were in the last one, you're not in this one. If you're still not in this one, I'm sorry. Just DO NOT ASK TO BE IN THE NEXT ONE. LONG DESCRIPTION: For those who don't know, Stacking Stars is basically a compilation of a bunch of stackers on YouTube. It's a tribute to many, so to speak. My editing has improved a lot since my last Stacking Stars video, and I'm very proud of the final result. I hope you guys enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it. =) This time around, the videos are in no particular order. However, whether you got your full cycle in or not depended on a variety of factors (how badly you need more people to watch your videos, whether you've quit in the past, how close of a friend you are to me, how well I know you, how fast you are, how epic you are, etc). But still, I believe everyone in this video deserves to have their full cycle shown. It was just a matter of how to fit everyone in the limited time of the song. I mean, at least you're still in the video! =D I honestly thought it would be really easy to pick people this time around, but it was still really hard. Some choices were obvious to me. People who were in the last one aren't in this one. However, when the entire video was filled I still had at least 10 people I wanted to put in it, probably more. Some people ended up getting replaced. I'm sorry. If I had a longer song to use for this, I would have used it. And ...

You don't have to be flying long to discover the wind doesn't always play when you want it! There's nothing more frustrating than turning up at your flying site only to find that the predicted 15mph is clearly happening elsewhere. You either turn around, and make the 120mile trip home or you do what the Powerkiteshop team do and build a 54 square metre traction beast! The stacking images you see here are the result of that spontaneous decision to do just that, If you decide to do any similar venture don't do it in too strong a wind and apply common sense as it could be dangerous! Stacking kites isn't new, it's done often. I can remember seeing Flexifoil's Joost Meijerink holding onto over 208 stacker 6's in 1993 and tethered to a three ton truck in France, not only did it pull like crazy the spectacle alone was memorable and fantastic. More unusual is the stacking of four line kites because of complex bridle systems that are built into land based ram air kites. The stacking of Lei's or Peter Lynn Arc kites however can be real easy and expands the possibilities in more ways than you may initially think. To inflate arcs you're best with about 8mph minimum though by manoeuvring the kite around the sky with effort you can get them fully inflated and flying in less. We had our windmeter maxing out in gusts at 4.8mph!! Not good. The 'Plan' was to fly each kite individually, get each inflated, then add a kite to the stack until we couldn't hold anymore power safely. The stack ...

Wow, how long has it been since one of these has been posted? I meant to do this last year, but I kinda failed. After finding this cool song, I decided to make it. Geez, I thought a 7 min song would be long. Turns out there had to be a lot of changes to the people in it. If you're not in it, I'm sorry. If I had a 30 min song to cover everyone who I thought deserved to be in this, I would have used it. The stackers are in kinda in the order of when they joined YouTube or when they became my friend. By the end it was a matter of when I remembered them. The chances of being in this were a combination of speed, how close of a friend you were to me, and the likelihood that I would remember you. It's usually one of those three reasons that you were not in here. If you comment and I feel that you deserved to be in here, I will poke myself. In the arm. With a pencil eraser. Covered with bubble wrap. Or something. I just want to make one thing clear: DO NOT REQUEST TO BE IN THE NEXT ONE. If I do make another one, requesting to be in it will severely hurt your chances.
