| Anatoli Krastev (cello) - Rumen Tzanov (piano) Live Recording National Palace of Culture Sofia - Bulgaria Anatoli Krastev graduated from the Conservatory in Tunisia, in the class of Gvido Evraet, and from the State Musical Academy in Sofia, in the class of Prof. Velko Karastoyanov. He further specialized with prof. Zdravko Yordanov, Andre Navarra and Janos Starker. Since 1972 he has been a Professor at the State Musical Academy "Pancho Vladigerov", Sofia. He has given Master classes in various countries including Belgium, France, England, Greece, Brazil and Macedonia. He is an Honorary President of the Academy for Young Talents in Marseille (together with Janos Starker and Maurice Backet), is a regular member of the jury at the International competitions in Weimar and Prague (Prague spring), and has numerous International and National awards and distinctions. His unconditional professionalism, bright artistic presence and impressive repertoire bring him to the most renowned stages in Bulgaria and abroad (Europe, USA, Asia, Africa). He is a regular soloist with all the Bulgarian and a number of European and American orchestras. The international concert activity of Anatoli Krastev includes participation in festivals (the Flanders' festival in Belgium, the International meetings of violoncellists in Brazil, to name but a few), solo recitals and collaborations with artists such as Mincho Minchev, Stoyka Milanova, Boyan Vodenicharov, Evgenia-Maria Popova, Dorothy Dorow ... |
