Jacob Petrus mostrando mis fotografías de cicadas en la TV.

Las mostró Jacob el día (28/Junio/2007) por la mañana en el programa Buenos Días Madrid. Mande como habitualmente las fotos a mi amigo Jacob Petrus meteorólogo de Telemadrid,pero no eran ni fotos o vídeos de los rayos y tormentas que siempre mando para que las vea sino esta vez son de las chicharras o cigarras que ya están saliendo por mi zona,la cigarra que aparece es una Tibicen plebejus muy característica por su coloración parda y con zonas blancuzcas en el abdomen,emiten el sonido por esa membrana que tienen en el abdomen (solo los machos) que es muy característico por su larga duración y por la distancia a la que se pueden llegar a oír,cantan sobretodo mediodía y primerísimas horas de la tarde (según la especie)pero la especie Tibicen al atardecer es cuando mas canta ya que los aves y depredadores se esconden para dormir y por eso se ven fuera de peligro e inician un enorme coro tras la puesta de sol,espero filmar dentro de poco a ellas cantando en os arboles para ello me tendré que subir a ellos como siempre hago y así la podre filmar desde cerca,aunque el año pasado se subían por mi mano y cantaban con total libertad porque sabían que no las hacia daño pero como este año hay tan pocas pues de momento os tendréis que conformar con fotos y vídeos de chicharras recién emergidas de el estado de ninfa,el vídeo esta filmado por mi con la cámara compacta enfocando a la TV por eso se ve con cuadraditos y con esa poca calidad pero menos es nada :). Quiero mandar un saludo ...
