Eight unregulated weapons vs. Ballistical Gelatin

The Slingshot Channel finds out how commercial and home made slingshots compare to crossbows and blank firing guns when it comes to the impact. Therefore, certified ballistical gelatin (yes, the "Mythbusters" type) has been used to measure the performance. The shots are filmed both in real time (50 pictures per second) and in hi speed (1200 pictures per second), so the effects can be seen quite clearly.

The Slingshot Channel brings to you another How-To video, this time with only one thing in the focus: POWER. So it had to be a metal slingshot, but without welding - therefore, heavy bolts and nuts have been used. It had to be the "W" design as this is simply the most efficient frame ever encountered by The Slingshot Channel (thanks to Bill Herriman again, who pointed this out to us some time ago). We removed all the fancy things a power slingshot does not need - no rotating handle, no hinges, straight forward. The slingshot is shot with very heavy ammo.

How to make the bonecrushing Sling-X-Bow at home, with common tools

After the huge success of the Sling-X-Bow, The Slingshot Channel received many requests for a how-to video tutorial. Making this powerful and accurate weapon without welding and turning gear meant a total redesign of the construction, which took a while. The outcome is spectacular: Entirely out of wood and off-the-shelf screws, everybody with basic tools and skills can follow these instruction.
