As part of the propaganda effort, Napolitano and the DHS claim attacks have been either disrupted or uncovered in the past few years, including a cartoonish attempt by a supposed al-Qaeda affiliate in Yemen to detonate toner cartridges packed with explosives aboard US-bound cargo planes. Most of the "uncovered" terror plots were designed by the FBI and involved clueless and often mentally deficient patsies. As for the laughable toner terror plot, it turns out there were no UPS or DHL cargo flights from Yemen within a 48 hour period prior to the supposed terror attack. The government claimed CIA operative Anwar al-Awlaki was behind the bombings. Mr. al-Awlaki was at one time a preferred dinner guest at the Pentagon. Istanbul wants to play in the big leagues. Last year it was the European City of Culture. It has its heart set on winning the 2020 Olympic bid. And the government wants it to be the financial centre of the region. At fifteen million, its population is twice the size of London's, and looks set to double by 2030. But there is every sign that this unchecked growth is coming at a devastating cost. Imre Azem dissects the reasons Istanbul is groaning under its rapid expansion with a striking aural and visual landscape and by speaking to a wealth of experts and developers. He also follows a group of families forced to live in tents after being chucked out of their homes, to make way for luxury skyscrapers. The lack of planning regulations means that expansion has come without adequate environmental or safety precautions. In fact, an estimated 70% of the city's 3.8 million buildings are thought to be unsafe -- and lying on a fault line. As one interviewee warns, for Istanbul the future means chaos.

The original World Trade Center was a complex of seven buildings in Lower Manhattan in New York City that was destroyed in the attacks that took place on September 11 2001. The site is currently being rebuilt with six new skyscrapers and a memorial to the casualties of the attacks. At the time of their completion, the first 1 World Trade Center and 2 World Trade Center were the tallest buildings in the world, surpassing the Empire State Building, which is also in Manhattan. The cost for the construction was $400 million ($2169167354 as of 2011). The original World Trade Center was designed by Minoru Yamasaki in the early 1960s using a tube-frame structural design for the twin 110-story towers. In gaining approval for the project, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey agreed to take over the Hudson & Manhattan Railroad, which became the Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH). Groundbreaking for the World Trade Center took place on August 5, 1966. The North Tower was completed in December 1972 and the South Tower was finished in July 1973; the two were collectively known as the Twin Towers, the two tallest buildings in the world at that time. The construction project involved excavating a large amount of material, which was used for landfill to make Battery Park City on the west side of Lower Manhattan. Special Forces Black Hawk Helicopters at Street Level in Chicago, IL

In a repeat of events in LA three months ago, black military helicopters buzzed skyscrapers and high rise buildings in downtown Chicago Monday night and this whole day, in what has been described as an urban training exercise. Witnesses reported at least three Blackhawk helicopters flying in close formation, then separately, around offices and residential buildings for several hours. Several smaller A/MH-6 Little Bird helicopters were also seen circling close to the Chicago River. The choppers are often used by military special forces. Witnesses described seeing three or four military personnel hanging out of each of the helicopters brandishing automatic weapons.
