Stan Wojenny/ Martial Law in Poland

Martial law in Poland (Polish: Stan wojenny w Polsce) refers to the period of time from December 13, 1981 to July 22, 1983 when the government of the People's Republic of Poland drastically restricted normal life in an attempt to crush the political opposition against the communist rule in the country. Thousands of people were arrested without charge and as many as 100 were killed. Lang Xianping: China's Economic Depression Has Begun

Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com On October 22, Lang Xianping, an economics professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, gave a private talk in Shenyang City in Liaoning Province. He cited statistics showing why the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is trapped in an economic crisis and is at brink of bankruptcy. Some scholars say that Lang's conclusion is not surprising at all, for they themselves hold the same the view. Lang Xianping's speech, which was widely circulated online, pointed out that the CCP's official published growth rate of 9.1% and its inflation rate of 6.2%, are false. Instead he says, China as a nation, is bankrupt. Lang Xianping: "The 9.1% figure is false. The inflation rate of 6.2% is also false. Inflation has reached at least 16%! Do you know how to calculate the gross domestic product (GDP) figure? Nine minus six. The actual growth rate, according to the CCP's data, should be less than 3%. What if the inflation rate was 16%? What's the GDP growth rate? Minus seven percent. The situation is this serious." Professor Lang said that all of the CCP's current policies are covering up the deep, murky reality of China's economy. He cited the Purchasing Managers Index to explain that back to early July, China's economy entered a recession. Lang Xianping: "The Purchasing Managers Index, which was just released, showed a reading above 50. This indicates normal economic growth, while below 50 means the country is entering ...

Stalin and The Betrayal of Leningrad part 1/5

Part 1/5 Stalin was always suspicious of Russia's former capital. Its huge cultural, scientific and economic importance, its historical role as the cradle of the 1917 Revolution, its pre-eminent position in the history of the Russian intelligentsia - all produced a dangerous spirit of independence when viewed from the Kremlin. From 1918 to 1926, moreover, it was the power base of Grigorii Zinoviev, one of Stalin's main rivals to succeed Lenin. After Zinoviev's downfall Stalin installed Sergei Kirov as first secretary of the Leningrad party, and Trotsky's and Zinoviev's followers were ruthlessly purged. Though a loyal Stalinist, Kirov may well also, in turn, have come to be seen as a threat. A popular figure and - unlike Stalin - a Russian, by the early 1930s he was certainly seen by some in the Party as preferable to Stalin as leader. His assassination in December 1934 has often been attributed to Stalin, though official investigations under Khrushchev, Gorbachev and Yeltsin failed to unearth conclusive evidence of this. What is certain is that Stalin seized the opportunity presented by Kirov's death to purge Leningrad of former oppositionists and members of the old ruling and professional classes - and also to appoint one of the rising generation of Stalinist cadres, Andrei Zhdanov, as ruler of the USSR's second city.

LAPD Captain Michael Part Six American Bolsheviks .swf

The historical and contemporary ignorance of Marxism and Communism in America is stunning. It was the Russian BOLSHEVIKS who created the Soviet Union. It is the American Bolsheviks - Obama led - who have done the same with the American USSR (United States Socialist Republic). Bolsheviks are the difference. NO ONE has it RIGHT except LAPD retired Captain Robert Michael. Arrogance? No, just the very sad truth.

The Vice Guide to North Korea Part 1 of 14

The Vice Guide to North Korea Part 1 of 14 Vice Guide to North Korea VBS.TV www.vbs.tv Getting into North Korea was one of the hardest and weirdest processes VBS has ever dealt with. After we went back and forth with their representatives for months, they finally said they were going to allow 16 journalists into the country to cover the Arirang Mass Games in Pyongyang. Then, ten days before we were supposed to go, they said, No, nobody can come. Then they said, OK, OK, you can come. But only as tourists. We had no idea what that was supposed to mean. They already knew we were journalists, and over there if you get caught being a journalist when youre supposed to be a tourist you go to jail. We dont like jail. And were willing to bet wed hate jail in North Korea. But we went for it. The first leg of the trip was a flight into northern China. At the airport, the North Korean consulate took our passports and all of our money, then brought us to a restaurant. We were sitting there with our tour group, and suddenly all the other diners left and these women came out and started singing North Korean nationalist songs. We were thinking, Look, we were just on a plane for 20 hours. Were jet-lagged. Can we just go to bed? but this guy with our group who was from the LA Times told us, Everyone in here besides us is secret police. If you dont act excited then youre not going to get your visa. So we got drunk and jumped up onstage and sang songs with the girls. The next day we got our ...
