17 Mile Hadron Super Collider

The Hadron Collider, CERN, is the world's largest high energy particle accelerator, intended to collide opposing particle beams. The 17 Mile Hadron Collider was built by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) with the intention of testing various predictions of high energy physics. The Collider lies in a tunnel 17 miles in circumference and 570 feet beneath the Franco-Swiss border near Geneva, Switzerland. The Hadron Collider was funded by and built in collaboration with over 10000 scientists and engineers from over 100 countries as well as hundreds of universities. On 10 September 2008, the proton beams were successfully circulated in the main ring of the LHC for the first time. On 19 September 2008, the operations were halted due to a serious fault between two superconducting bending magnets. The Hadron Collider is scheduled to be operational again in November 2009.

There's no denying that the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 was one of the biggest stars of the 2011 Geneva Auto Show. It had all the ingredients of a show-stopping supercar stuffed into a shape that was rivaled only by the models standing next to it. But seeing the new Lamborghini sitting on a show stand is one thing. Hearing the Aventador LP700-4 ripping across the desert is another experience entirely. We know this because we recently spent a day with the new Lamborghini on a film shoot in the California desert. The Aventador LP700-4 wore the same Argos orange color as the showcar, so it looked particularly striking after getting covered in a thick coat of dry lake silt. And when it fired up to head out for its beauty shots, the sound of its 6.5-liter V12 didn't disappoint.

Together with my dad, I went to the Geneva Motorshow. We saw some awesome new cars presented there, and this was one of them. The brand-new Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador. It has a 6.5 Liter V12. We asked if we were able to get on the stand of Lamborghini, and we were! So I could get some exclusive material. The last shot you see is taken out of a Lamborghini LP570-4 Spyder Performante. ⇩⇩⇩⇩⇩⇩ All the info on this video can be found here ⇩⇩⇩⇩⇩⇩ This is actually MY first Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador I spot in the streets of Paris, tonight, after Geneva motorshow in February. It's pretty nice, although it kinda lacks originality with its white paint and black rims (let's hope for a more colorful and bright future)! But it's not the first Aventador in Paris (it was orange, spotted on the Champs-Elysées, but never seen again). In this video you will see the Aventador starting-up its V12 engine, then leaving... Although he didn't hit the gas to the full extent of its potential, you can clearly hear that this car has a lot to offer. BEAUTIFUL. Except maybe the rear-view camera in the back, under the "Lamborghini" sign, which is kind of an overkill. Not very well-concealed. They didn't have those back in Geneva!
