Dubai Fountain: "Lionel Richie - All Night Long"

Experience The Dubai Fountain Set on the 30-acre Burj Khalifa Lake, the fountain shoots water jets as high as 500 ft (150 metres), equivalent to that of a 50-storey building. The fountain is 900 ft (275 metres) long and has five circles of varying sizes and two central arcs. It has been designed by California-based WET, the creators of the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas. The Dubai Fountain performs daily, with the performance repertoire including Sama Dubai; Baba Yetu, an award-winning song in Swahili; the Arab world's top-selling dance number Shik Shak Shok; and the signature piece of world-renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, Con te partiro (Time to Say Goodbye). Over 6600 WET Superlights -- the most advanced incandescent large fountain lights available today -- and 25 colour projectors create a visual spectrum of over 1000 abstract attractions. The beam of light shining upward from the fountain can be seen from over 20 miles away, and will be visible from space making it the brightest spot in the Middle East, and quite possibly in the entire world. Shows are every 30 minutes from 6pm to 10pm on weekdays and from 6pm to 11pm on weekends. Click here for all fountain show timings. Welcoming 2011 in Dubai

I know its very late, but I never had the time to edit it n upload it. Im kinda stupid to do all this right b4 exams XS. nyways, that was how our NYE went. CRAZY right? and I never thought it would be 10 minutes long! :O and yes, my video editing sux X) and and and also, no offense to monkeys! (I was thinking of using the words monkeys or ninjas, but ended up using monkeys, lol :P) Regarding calling them monkeys, I don't know what people's problems are. Yes, I do remove ur hate comments, cuz I just don't need them. Do you even know the reason why I described them as monkeys? I wasn't discriminating or criticizing anyone as a monkey/animal if thats what you guys were thinking about. I was just explaining the fact that it is funny to see how people can behave so crazy (in a positive way) and funny just like how monkeys are. So, please, think before you write anything. nyways, heppy belated new year ;)

Fireworks to welcome in 2012: Australia, Japan, China, UAE, UK, Brazil, US.

Revellers around the world are celebrating the end of 2011 and starting to see in 2012. Sydney held a spectacular display set to music in the city's world famous harbour. In Tokyo, people released helium balloons in front of the Tokyo Tower at midnight with notes attached listing their hopes for 2012. In Hong Kong the countdown to 2012 was made in giant illuminated numbers on the side of a skyscraper facing the harbour. And Dubai welcomed 2012 with a firework display around the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. In the UK hundreds of thousands of people attended events, with fireworks at London's waterfront and Edinburgh castle heralding the new year. Meanwhile, in Brazil, revellers enjoyed a fireworks display on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, and in the US, crowds watched New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Lady Gaga count down to midnight.
