San Juan violent demolition 2012 - Police retreats then retaliates with teargas

Raw footage of the encounter of residents defending their homes and the police enforcing demolition. In this video, the police shielded themselves from residents throwing stones to prevent them from enforcing demolition. Residents resolutely stood their ground and expelled police with stones, bottles and Molotov. Police retreated after a Molotov hit the middle of their phalanx and the residents advanced on them with stones. The police came back firing teargas and residents ran to protect themselves.

Fort Steuben Bridge Demolition

At 7:15 am on February 21, 2012, the Fort Steuben Bridge, which connected Steubenville, Ohio and Weirton, West Virginia, since the 1920s, was imploded. The awesome blast could be felt and heard as far upriver as Toronto (Ohio) and throughout the surrounding areas. Some friends of mine and I working on a project for Radio/TV News captured the footage and I put together a little montage of the blast and some of the cleanup afterwards. Josh Baker (got the awesome blast shot), AJ Miller, Emily Lahr and I all took part in gathering footage, and I put it all together-enjoy!
