In addition to games, there are hundreds of movies and songs you can watch to kill time. But, I personally, like playing some of these games as passtime! The Bed - When I fly, its always overnight and 12+ hours long. There is nothing like taking a nap for 8-9 hours with your legs sprawled out like a baby. The seat becomes a bed and there are many ways you can configure the seat. The Seat Massage - No, it is not your deep tissue rubba-dub-dub but honestly when you are flying 12- 14 hours straight (depending on which direction you fly) its just a nice little novelty to get ur back rubbed and release a little tightness. EMIRATES IT HOME | DXB-ZRH | BOEING 777-300ER

Flight from Dubai to Zurich on Emirates Airlines Boeing 777-300ER. Flight duration was about 6 hours and altitude about 38'000 feet. Due to some unknown reason the plane was almost empty with a payload of only 20-30% (estimated). Less passengers means better service with Emirates. Both food choices were still available and I had a lot of privacy and space. If this was an ultra long haul flight I would have slept in the middle for a while ;) Please don't hesitate to ask for further information and enjoy!

Emirates A380 MAN DXB EK018 29MAR12 Take Off taxi Front Engine View

TAKE OFF IS AT JUST OVER 8 MINS Number 1 start-up and taxi, highly edited because it took forever!!!!! Anyway ... this is a very short version of all the film i took on board. I clearly shows the start-up (audio also) of Number 1 engine on this Emirates A380 from Manchester Airport to Dubai UAE. Some taxi (with edits) and take off showing mostly the number 1 and part of number 2 engines. Was difficult to see clearly because of the configuration of the windows. Hope you enjoy it. What impressed me most about the aircraft was the amount of space and no real need to have the a/c blowing in your face as plenty of ventilation. I did ask to go on the flight deck of the 777s but there is a policy no one goes in and the cabin crew later came to me and asked did I know someone etc, etc and I said no, he apologised again. Bovvered..... not. Overall impression of Emirates... when/if I go back to the UK I'd chose to pay a bit more and try Qantas. The people next to me commented that there did not appear to be any feel of the aircraft thrust like on the 777 which they missed.
