| see below...My Iguana, (RIP) comes when called, he is soo cute.. Many ppl are asking about his lighting and food, cage, etc.. see below for that info.. Lighting.. I used a UVA/UVB day bulb, UVA/UVB night bulb, and a 60W ceramic heater over the winter. UVB bulbs are EXTREMELY important. Food... Igs like a variety of food, Mr. Wizard loved zucchini, sweet potatoes (in moderation), blueberries (moderation), kale, pepper, dandelion greens, cactus flower, red beets, arugula, green beans, peas,collard greens,turnip greens,peas,legumes, strawberries, mango, grapes, snow peas, tofu, carrots, bean sprouts, raspberries, bananas (on occasion), apples, peaches, kiwi, watermelon, etc. and occasionally I fed him things like brown rice and whole wheat bread, but very seldom. I also used a calcium powder over his food every day. Cage.. I had him in a 20 gallon long until he was about 1.5-2, then got a larger 3.5 foot cage until he was about 5, then got him a 6 foot long cage... |
