The weapons in this game lo0k great but function ridiculously. Shotguns have to0 much spread (as per typical), plus you relad them n0ob style. Ever since CoD4 (possibly before that), every FPS developer seems to think it's c0oler to load a shotgun n0ob style. No0b style is where you hold the shotgun around the base of the magazine tube (or forearm if it's an autoloader) with your support hand and reload using your sho0ting hand. You can do it that way, sure, but that's not how professionals do it, especially not in combat. You're supposed to keep your sho0ting hand at the ready and use your support hand to reload. Also, every gun in this game that has a folding/collapsible stock has the stock left folded/collapsed. Since all you can do is sho0t from the hip like a dillhole anyway, it doesn't matter to0 much, but it would be nice to see a game developer be original for a change and make an attempt at being authentic instead of following the hideous example set by the Hollyw0od Machine. Just like every other FPS game (especially games made by Valve), L4D2 has to have a SPAS-12. Not only that, but the stock is left folded. Far Cry 2 also has a SPAS-12 with a stock that remains folded, PLUS you can use your sights in that game. Combine the ability to aim with the inability to utilize the stock and what you end up with is a recipe for ultra-incompetent mega-retardation. The ability to aim is g0od. Top-folding stocks that you can't unfold are uber-lame. All the rifles/SMGs suck ...
