Amazing Water Absorbing Polymer Beads -Slo Mo

The Story behind this video: I found these "Deco-Beads" at a local hardware store. I was looking for an additive I could put in the soil to eliminate dry patches in my lawn. These little beads are meant for decoration for wedding receptions or whatever. They come in a variety of colors so picked the red ones. I had no idea how long they took to swell up or how large they would get. I intended to make a time-lapse video showing the beads swelling up, thinking they would only take about 15 minutes to reach full size. After an hour I stopped the camera and (duh) read the instructions and found out they take 6 hours to reach full size. My computer would choke on an HD file that large and would take a good 48 hours or more to render such a huge file. I left the beads to soak and they eventually ended up measuring 5/8" (17mm) after a few days. The beads started out at 2.5 mm and ended up 17mm. Mazda MPV Brake Change

Changing the brake pads on my wifes 04 Mazda MPV LX Van....only thing I did not show was me using a 17mm socket and ratchet to tighten the caliber bolts back into the brake frame....hope this helps

Anza Borrego Milky Way Time-Lapse

Finally some dark sky! We went down to Anza Borrego to enjoy the night sky. We went off-roading to Vista del Malpais, overlooking the badlands in Anza Borrego Desert California State Park. We even got to see a double rainbow all the way! It was so intense! I borrowed my brothers camera so that we could take two time-lapses at the same time. Shooting info: Both cameras are Canon T3i 600Ds. One was using an 8mm fisheye. The other was using a Tamron 17-50 2.8mm set at 17mm. The star time-lapses were 30 second exposures with the aperture wide open. The 8mm was at 6400 iso and the 17mm was at 3200 iso. Traxxas Slash Jeep conversion VXL truck bodyshell test runs

Testing our new Jeep conversion on Traxxas Slash 2wd and 4wd. Both trucks needed some mods to shells and 2wd has 17mm hex conversion kit on wheels. the shells used were the hpi ford bronco monster truck shell for emaxx tmaxx and savage and the jeep rubicon hpi emaxx tmaxx savage truck bodyshell
