The Kardex Horizontal is a high productivity automated storage system, working on the goods-to-man retrival principle. The Kardex Horizontal provides high performance picking by combining jobs into batches. The Kardex Horizontal has been successfully installed in a wide range of applications up to a height of 4.1m and a payload of 60 tons. Much reduced walking and waiting time, combined with software control of picking sequences ensures that the Kardex Horizontal delivers an excellent Return on Investment (ROI). In addition to the speed of pick, accuracy of pick is essential and operators are guided by pick to light systems which ensure almost 100% accuracy.
