I was unfortunate enough to contract a bad case of food poisoning a few months ago and still remember the terrible feeling of realization, whilst sitting on the toilet with water resembling the color of the Ganges pouring out of my arse, that I needed to throw up at the same time without the assistance of a bucket. Why am I painting this less-than-pleasant picture for you, you may ask? Well, I have to say that it very much reminds me of how I felt while going back and forth through the PPSimmons offering that is the subject of this video. In it, PP continues to expound on a theme that he started in the video that was the target of Holy Hallucinations 15, and that is that creationists and "evolutionists" look at and interpret the same physical evidence but that the more rational of us do so with pre-supposition that there is no god. Although I spent a little time in addressing this previously, most of my attention was turned to educating PP with regard to his sudden interest in sex. However, I find this line of alleged "reasoning" so offensive, and it produced such a feeling of nausea, that now that PP has dedicated a whole video to the subject I felt that I had no choice but to revisit it. Being a glutton for punishment, I've been back to the PPSimmons channel again and, perhaps unsurprisingly, found something that offended me. In fact, you may have noticed that I'm getting a bit of a bee in my bonnet about this particular creationist, perhaps because on face value his productions seem a lot more reasonable that the rantings of nutjobs like Nephy, MF and Eye2Eye and therefore may be in more danger of being taken seriously by those who don't yet know any better. Expect more PP slapping in the future. Call it a crusade. Well, here we go again with another variation on the same theme. This is the last of the newest batch of PPSimmons/Carl Gallups anti-science videos that need to be addressed, so with a bit of luck he'll shut the fuck up for a while now and let me move on to pastures new. This time the wankers-in-crime claim that rationalists are hypocrites because they accuse creatards of falsely painting evolution as a random process while themselves using the very same words to describe it. They then go on to exploit a rich seam quotes from evolutionary biologist Doug Futuyma by mining it relentlessly, all while claiming that this is exactly what they're not doing. Here I put them straight on the exact nature of their excavations and also why processes that contain random elements are not necessarily random themselves, thereby demonstrating why they and their like cannot even begin to discuss modern science with out stinking out the room. It seems that PPSimmons is currently confining his mental disability to areas outside science so this has afforded me the opportunity to looks elsewhere for ignorance and dishonesty that needs addressing. This is my first response to VenomFangX because he left Youtube shortly after I joined because of his -- erm -- legal problems. In the video I'm addressing, VFX claims to answer Thunderf00t's challenge to provide evidence of biblical prophecy of scientific knowledge, and here I point out as politely as I can why he's full of shit. Well, it's been a whirlwind few weeks since the last Holy Hallucinations and a lot of water and about 5000 new subscribers have passed under the bridge. My heartfelt thanks again to everyone who gave me a shout-out recently, particularly JaguarJ0nes, Desertphile, chattiestspike2, PZ Meyers/Pharyngula, The AtheistExperience and dprjones. During all the furor, the user FranksVoice paid a couple of little visits to my channel to leave a comment. In the first he opined that this channel needs some serious prayer but, funnily enough, didn't offer to provide any himself. Following this particularly good example of Christian compassion he returned and destroyed the whole of modern physical and biological science by decisively disproving with the quote "Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Game over!" Needless to say, having been confronted with an intellect of this magnitude, I felt compelled to surf over to his channel to see what I could see and found a mirror of the video I'm addressing here. Finally, here's my reply to onceforgivennowfree's (Matt's) response to Holy Hallucinations 20. It's taken me quite a while to make this because it was the most difficult script I've had to write so far. Not because of the quality of his arguments, I should add, but because of the sheer number of new subjects he introduced. The original was twice as long as the final product and as it is this is the longest video I've ever made and give's Matt far more attention than he merits, so deciding what not to address was quite a chore. The topics I would have like to have dealt with in more detail include some of his comments on the "What is life?" panel discussion, some more information on abiogenesis and the evolution of proteins, and more details on his example of the evolution of domestic dogs. In the latter case I could have gone on for much longer but because of time constraints chose to focus on Matt's claims about information loss and not the evolutionary process itself. In this instance, I would have liked to include more details on: exactly why evolutionary theory predicts that these processes should be unidirectional (which Matt seems to think argues against it); why some alleles are actually lost from these populations by processes such as genetic drift; and how new ones (ie information) arise (including numerous new mutations in extant dog breeds) to provide new variation for selection to act on. I thought it was about time that I gave NephilimFree a little more attention since it's been quite a while and twelve videos since I gave him the benefit of my attention. Not much else to be said, really, except that if your thought the pwnage was a little spicy the last time I spanked him, this time it's thermo-nuclear.
