On 7th December 2011 (the day after Budget 2012 was released) CXC held an information session for their contractors in the Round Room at the Mansion House, Dublin. The speakers on the night were Fergal Lennon, MD of CXC and Kieran Coughlan, Tax Manager of CXC. Fergal spoke on the overall look of the contracting market from what CXC have learnt over the past year through dealing with their contractors as well as recruitment professionals. He also touched on some important topics such as claiming business expenses as a contractor using a limited company model. Following on from this, Kieran gave an insightful overview of the Budget outcome and how this will affect contractors going forward. |
