With the Hot Rod Deluxe and a Stratocaster, the gigging musician can play anything from dirty blues to rock and still come out in front of the mix. The Fender Hot Rod Deluxe was designed to meet the needs of todays working guitarist. The clean channel yields traditional, sparkly Fender clean tones with bite and punch. When pushed up to the breaking point, the overdrive is spanky and tight with rich harmonic content and dynamic control. The Hot Rod Deluxe overdrive channel yields warm, creamy overdrive reminiscent of Texas blues and southern rock. When pushed into More Drive, the saturation gets thicker and the overdrive starts to sing a song of sustaining leads and rockin rhythms. Fender designed the Hot Rod Deluxe to meet demanding specifications, the first of which is versatility. 1962 Fender Jaguar 00924

www.frettedamericana.com This very early and totally original custom color Jaguar with matching headstock weighs just 8.00 lbs. Two Strat-like pickups. Solid alder body, one-piece maple neck with a medium-to-thin profile and a veneer rosewood fretboard with clay dot position markers. The neck is stamped "1 SEP 62B." Two white oblong Strat-like pickups with notched metal side plates and outputs of 7.85k and 6.64k. Four-layer tortoiseshell over white, black & white plastic pickguard with ten screws. Jazzmaster-type floating tremolo and bridge with adjustable mute. This guitar is in exceptionally fine (9.00) condition, with minimal belt buckle scarring on the back, some light finish checking and a few very small chips or marks on the edges. A fabulous example. Housed in a later Fender G & L black hardshell case with black plush lining.

Solid alder body, one-piece fretted maple neck with a wonderful medium to thick profile and a nut width of 1 5/8 inches. Fender individual "F" tuners with octagonal metal buttons. The neck is stamped "3 21 015 B". Two hot pickups with outputs of 6.64k and 5.95k. Three-layer plastic pickguard with eight screws. Fender combined bridge/tailpiece with original chrome cover. An exceptionally fine 'custom color' example. Housed in it's original Fender black hardshell case.

One of the very best examples we've ever seen of the earliest Bass VIs! Weighs just 8.90 lbs. and has three Stratocaster-type pickups with chrome surrounds and outputs of 6.29k, 6.16k, and 6.60k. Solid alder body, one-piece maple neck, and slab Brazilian rosewood fretboard. The neck is dated in pencil "1-62". Six-saddle bridge and separate vibrato tailpiece.
