| A Grand Opera Gergiev Festival in Rotterdam, September, 2011. Kseniya Simonova - special guest of the Festival. She created 8 sand stories on the base of famous "Troy" and visualised the Opera. Kseniya Simonova: "A greatest honour for me... This epic atmosphere, the spirit of anciet times, Greeks and Troyens, beauty and fire. This all makes me feel like being in the air of something eternally esthetical, it is an endless inspiration. To prepare my sand stories for this masterpoiece Opera by Hector Berlioz, I had to make a great amount of preparations - to read, to make scetches of the clothes and architecture, to listen to the Opera in the recorded version. This all brought me a lot of pleasure and I hope, I managed to create the sand stories worth this gorgeous Opera. Anyway, the spectators are to judge". Завершился грандиозный фестиваль Оперы, проходивший в Роттердаме. Среди множества прекрасных произведений, представленных на Фестивале, выделялась опера Гектора Берлиоза «Троянцы». Истинным украшением оперы стала песочная анимация Ксении Симоновой. На протяжении всего произведения, состоящего из двух отделений, рука украинской художницы создавала на сцене живую декорацию. Движение ладони -- и действие переносилось в мифический мир эпохи троянцев. Зрители видели неприступную стену Трои, троянского коня -- коварный дар захватчиков, Кассандру, гибель Трои, Дидону, прекрасный сад, ночь, огни, корабли.
