Motion Mixer Tutorial (Lightwave): Using it to move your character

I figured a lot of people might be curious as to how motion mixer can be used to move around characters, so I created this tutorial. It pretty much outlines my workflow for this plugin. I hope Lightwave users find it useful! This technique was only sorta used in EP 004 of my series Delura, I didn't figure out the null trick until after I finished animation for that installment.

Due to the 10 min. limit on YouTube, this is part 1 of my 20 min, tutorial on how to create a phaser / laser in Lightwave and also what settings I use in my space battle clips. In the next tutorial on phasers I will show how else you can make phasers and what settings I used in my more recent clips. Also how to fire a phaser, how to connect / parent it to an moving object and how to use particles as disruptor fire. (Like Klingon weapons)

Lightwave 3D 3.5 for Commodore Amiga [ 1994 ]

Travelling back in time to 1994 to try if I still remember how to use this app. v3.5 was the first "official" version of the Lightwave that didn't require Video Toaster to run. There were some unofficial hacks before, that made Lightwave 3.0 run without Video Toaster presence (Video Toaster emulators), and I remember them very well, but finally this version did not require any of them. Here I'm loading and rendering a sample scene that came preinstalled with the app. Lightwave v3.5 was installed to hard drive using 7 DD floppies (double density, 880kb).
