Canon 7d Vs 5d mark II with Lilliput Field monitor. - DSLR Film NOOB

www.dslrfilmnoob.com I have been getting a number of questions about the Lilliput monitor used with the canon 7d and 5d mark II. This video answers the 3 most asked questions. Whats the difference between the 5d and 7d when used with a field monitor? Answer The Canon 5d Drops out when record is pressed causing the monitor to go black well the signal changes from 16:9 to 4:3 the camera is still recording well this dropout is happening. What does the Lilliput monitor menu look like? Answer: In the video i Scroll through the monitors menu to give you an idea of what to expect. Can you rotate the Lilliput monitors display in the menu settings. Answer: Yes, you can rotate the display both left to right and top to bottom. The monitor was tested on both the Canon 7d and 5d mark II. Dani Wilde - I'd Rather Go Blind - Canon EOS 5D Mark II

Live Video recorded Apr. 12th 2009 at "Alte Piesel", Dirlos/Fulda as the 22 years old wonderful singer/guitarist Dani Wilde from Brighton/UK was on her Germany-tour 2009. Recorded in FullHD with Canon 5DMKii and EF 24-105mm F/4 L IS, sound recorded separately. Rendered down to 720p. I did not care for the upper/lower limits of the recorded area and had a little bit trouble focusing by hand. Also the video starts later as the sound, because I had to make the way from the mixing board to the stage first. HDR Video Demonstration Using Two Canon 5D mark II's

This video highlights several clips we've made using our new High Dynamic Range (HDR) process. Video is captured on two Canon 5D mark II DSLRs, each capturing the exact same subject via a beam splitter. The cameras are configured so that they record different exposure values, eg, one camera is overexposed, the other underexposed. After the footage has been recorded, we use a variety of HDR processing tools to combine the video from the two cameras, yielding the clips you see above. HDR Video provides filmmakers with many exciting new opportunities. Not only can HDR video create interesting effects, it can also allow for even exposure where artificial lighting is unavailable or impractical. For example, when a subject is backlit, one camera could be set to properly expose the subject, the other the sky, resulting in video with perfect exposure throughout. GRAVEL music video by EMBER FX (filmed on Canon EOS 5d mk2, Mark 2 II Lens

This is the music video for the song "Gravel" by Ember Fx. Filmed entirely on the Canon 5D Mark II camera at 30fps then slowed down to 24fps. Lead singer Michael Berns had to sing to a version of the song that was sped up by 125% during filming. Then, when the footage was slowed down in post production to 24fps in Final Cut Pro, it matched the original speed of the album version of "Gravel"and Michael appears to move in slow motion. Gravel was shot using 4 prime lenses only-Canon Ef Lens 85mm f/1.2L, Ef 200mm f/2L, Ef 24mm f/1.4L II, Canon Ef 135mm f/2.0 -The slow motion technique whereby the song is filmed at a faster speed then slowed down in post production gained popularity as effect after Coldplay used the technique in their music video for the song "Yellow." But Coldplay shot "Yellow" at 50fps and slowed it down to 25fps, which created a much more noticeable slow motion effect than the 30fps to 24fps change seen in Gravel. This camera system is the same system that was used on the FOX show House MD Recording notes - Michael recorded this song in a recording studio where the main microphone used was a Neumann u87ai through Neve 1272 preamps, to Apogee AD-8000 special edition converters.
