| First mission of the game "BLACK" (for Black Ops), for the PS2. Best looking FPS on the PS2, followed by Killzone. The only flaw this game has is that you can't set the sensitivity of the aiming and movement functions, nor the acceleration. It's a bit slow, and you can see me struggle at first to draw a bead on simple targets. Haven't played this in over a year, forgot the controls too. Still, you can see how easy you can start to get used to things. A very fun game, and I love the attention to detail with the guns and gunplay. That's such an important aspect of a shooter, and many developers these days overlook this. For example, games like Pariah were plagued with horrendous playability. Shooting a gun should never be a chore in a shooter. Black turns every bullet into a work of art. Talk all the shit you want about EA, they know how to produce above the bar. |
