| It is in the Lower Vouga lagoon at the gates of the Ria de Aveiro, that nature is balanced with the man. With the promoter Estarreja City Council, the Bioria is assumed as a leading project for the conservation and protection of nature. Its network of paths known was recently elected by Fugas, supplement to the known newspaper "Público," as one of the top 10 places in the world for birdwatching. On 16th and 17th April, the Centre for Environmental Interpretation Bioria celebrated its second anniversary, which in addition to guided tours, organized a free demonstration of birds of prey.
