the same trick is done with dental floss, the skin of the neck folds over the dental floss and its damn near invisible. not sure how thick the chain is. but in the case of the dental floss there is no glue used.

Glued to proshetic skin on his neck to create the ripped-skin effect and it's magnetic so that it sticks together again when he's pulled it off. Still an amazing visual trick though. Most amazing one was the album trick, loved that.

My only possible explanation for the chain is that it was glued to his neck and when he pulled it off it looked like it had been pulled through.. Only thing I can think of though.
