hei man, maybe it's true that Tobey is not an accurate Spider-Man but it's not his fault, it's the SCRIPT FAULT! whatever he never joking around, not scientific genius, or etc. is the script! you know what actor does? acting and listen what the script said. and btw the costume from 3 previous film is much more cooler (The Spiderman, Dr. Ock and New Goblin costume is the best), other than the lack of the web shooter (or whatever it's name)

Peter Parker is supposed to be an attractive guy! In the comics his good looks helped him get three very attractive girlfriends (Betty Brant, Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane) and there were women who had a crush on him but didn't become his girlfriend (i.e. Liz Allen). The only time that Peter wasn't attractive was in those awful and very inaccurate Spider-Man movies starring Tobey MaGuire.

um no, this actor looks EXACTLY like Spider-man. Tobey Maguire was the WORST Spider-man of all time.... Spider-man is supposed to be a witty, wise-ass, scientific genius, and that's what Garfield plays. Maguire was a depressed, humor-less, dumb-ass who couldn't invent anything. And the previous films were shitty kids movies, THEY were the cheap parody. Garfield nails Spider-man's personality, he was born for the role. So yeah, if you think Maguire was better....you are a serious dumbass.
