How so? You'll need like at least $20-$30 worth of vinyl. You can do all 4 wheels with 2 cans of plastidip, $7 a can. You'll also need tools to take off the wheels and a heat gun, or have to pay someone to do it for you.

Heat guns can get ...
Heat guns can get as hot as 1000F, and also there's not a lot of heat transfer from the rotors to the wheels. Furthermore, rotors are vented and designed to dissipate heat, and the heat from the brakes isn't focused enough to affect the vinyl.

i would think that when you hit the brakes the wheels would heat up hotter than the heat gun youre using does and the wrap would start to fall off?

I did this too. The ...
I did this too. The big problem is the sharp corners at the center between the spokes. It comes loose real easy. The video also shows some trying to make touch-ups in those places. Your best bet is to put some superglue behind the vinyl, but even that doesn't help in the long rung. I had my rims sit for a week and it still came loose. Awesome effort tho. Still, I wouldn't reccomend it.
