How is the city? I would like to visit, however because of a bad experience I had in Lugansk I'm not so eager anymore, nonetheless since I'm studying Russian I would like to visit a Russian speaking country.

I agree that Kherson and Nikolaev have beautiful ladies -- Kherson is a nice safe city to explore. However I think Lugansk has the best ladies and people. My wife grew up there so I'm a bit biased, but after having spent time in more than 10 Ukrainian cities, my vote is with Lugansk. I've never been to Kharkov but I'm guessing that it's full of beauties as well.

Well if you want to know why it is so called "City of bride" Google and you will know =) From all soviet union best looking ladies were brought to Kherson so to keep officers happy marrying them and living in a new (for that time) port city ) So Kherson and Nikolaev girls are known for their beauty and if you want to find beautiful Ukrainian wife that is the city you should begin looking in...
