i refused the needle in my wrist, had the iv in my arm til the nurse got sick and tired of the iv pump beeping, she went to insert an iv in my wrist and hit a major artery and i bled everywhere.. im due again in october, and needless to say i better not see that nurse again in my room and i wont be gettin an iv in my wrist EVER!

You must have gotten an epidural before the real pain kicked in. Once I hit active later I BEGGED the anesthesiologist to stab me in the spine with everything he had, if it would make the pain stop.

its not easy of course not nothings easy in life but it looked like it the birth proberly went alot smoother cause she didnt throw herself about and scream but all women are different with pain
