Right you are man! I was eleven when AoS came out, but I first heard of Motorhead around 1982-83, the first albums I got was Another perfect day and Overkill when I was 14. Many years have passed and I'm not at all limitied to this kind of stuff (in all honestly, listening to only Motorhead and the like would be kind of tedious after a while) but I'm very glad to have grown up with this stuff. And where, and how you got to know it, as you say, is irrelevant.

Seriously, Who cares how somebody gets turned on to good music, so long as they are. I mean, I wasn't even born until 1982, two years AFTER Ace of Spades came out. I mean, I didn't get turned on to Motorhead until about 2001, when Triple H started coming out to "The Game." Today, I'm a huge fan of Motorhead because of it. So who cares where we get into good music, so long as we get into good music?

I started learning ...
I started learning the electric guitar about a year ago. Only the other day did I finally have the guts to start trying to play this one. It's not technically advanced in any way, it was just the shear load of mean spirited bad ass attitude of it that made me hesitate, like: me? I mean, me? could I? like play, you know, THAT? Well I finally got started, and for my level of skill I guess I'm doing ok. Never gonna be a very accomplished guitar player, but I just love it. Love it.
