I had a painful bump on my scalp once as a teen and my mom saw that it was an ingrown hair. She pulled it out with tweezers and it was DISGUSTING. It was very thick, about an inch long and a white hair at that. With a huge puss ball at the root.I have no idea what the crap caused it. But as soon as she pulled it out along with a few other hairs on my head it felt so muh better.
