To those that think rally is about show... You're morons. Driver safety is paramount. Have an obstruction likr.this should have called for a cancelation of the stage. Last time i rallied (not wrc) we had to forfeit our night stages becaude of a storm which cause the track to be unsafe. Someone would be in a world of trouble for this. Im not upset for the cars, im upset for the uneeded driver danger, just ask possum bourne.. Oh wait, you cant...

Coming from someone whos parents used to do marshelling for years on rallying, you're wrong. Spectator marshelling is only part of the job, in a situation like this where it was obvious the hole was doing damage, they should have pulled their fingers out of their asses, they're almost certianly doing it for free and for fun, so they should have done it properly too.

This is what pisses me off about ignorant people... Those marshals are SPECTATOR marshals, they're there to look after the spectators. Rallying isn't like circuit motorsports, where the marshals are responsible for the competitors, so it's got nothing to do with them. It wouldn't have hurt for a fellow competitor to have contacted their team and raised their concerns. This is what happens in rallying, get used to it. Most of all, stop blaming us bloody marshals!

well it doesnt necessarily mean that the co drivers notes aren't better. its just the fact that hole just started to appear bigger and bigger as the drivers pass by. when those co drivers take notes initially, there probably wasnt even a hole in the first place.

No yellow flag does not stop the race / stage but only make a warning about a danger / another car has crashed and i on / beside the road....

Ive marshalled a couple rallies and will be marshalling more. Spectator and road. Even Id be right there to flag them down having seen that hole. Took them how long to put 2 and 2 together? BS. Its things like this being the reason Im starting to bring a yellow flag along.
