It can be done both ways, It just depends on which image is on which side. I've only ever been able to do it the cross-eyed way. It took a while to learn, but now I can focus almost immediately on a 3D image. Not recommended for 3D-enabled videogames, though...

ya i know that is same thing but the inverse of crossing. and difficult if not impossible, I've never seen anybody do that to their eye. crossing inward is easier than that. read my above comment and try it'll work, i did it. for this to work your ayes need to be horizontally parallel to the screen. distance from screen doesn't matter. using that method you can even see a duplicated pattern on walls in 3d as well. you can even see a double 3d if there were 4 equal images!! i do! comes closer!
