I wish I had seen this a long time ago. I learned it through another tutorial of YouTube that wasn't as good, so I had some problems that I had to figure out by myself. I love that you explain how and why the ILS works.

Flight Sim X was sick. Cant wait to see whats next.. I tried other flight sim games and the only one that comes close was the one in my video. X Plane was garbage. Idk how to post a video response but check my page and look at the video and description.

how do you know what altitude to fly when approaching the runway. were in the fsx menu do go? for example if you want an ils frequence for a runway, heading, course and runway length. you go to Map you go to map look for an airprot find the geen slots click on them it will give this information runway, heading, course and runway length. on the other hand it does NOT tell YOU the G/S Altidude. were do you go to find an altitude for a glide slpoe??????????????????????

Runway34r: it depends the type of plane & runway length.. For example a 747 takes a longer braking distance.. It REQUIRES backwards thrust so you dont burn the breaks trying to get to a complete stop.. If you watch a 747 in st. Maarten land, you understand why they use it.. Lol!!
