This is what we ...
This is what we should think when we mention Mr Morrison and not just " The drug thing " !
The doors weren't ...
The doors weren't successful just for their drug abuse. They were talented, that's all. If someone takes drugs, it doesn't mean he's a rock star, a byronic hero or something like that. Even Coleridge, Wordsworth, Byron and other poets belonging to the Romantic period used to take drugs but their poetry is still appreciated not bcs they were oppium addicted. Just think about his talent, his articulated vocabulary and the deep meaning of his poetry!
im certain that 99 ...
im certain that 99 percent of sixties bands all took drugs
All of you idiots ...
All of you idiots talking about drugs are totally missing the point. Don't use the talent of this amazing band to support your shit-tastic choice of recreational activity. The Doors are purely amazing. Who gives a damn about the drugs. This is some of the finest music America has ever had the privilege of listening to. Don't belittle it with your bullshit.
Without drugs The ...
Without drugs The Doors are just some average 60's band.
I think the point ...
I think the point is that without drugs The Doors would not exist and Jim Morrison would be some average joe singing crappy lyrics.

When I read all ...
When I read all those comments I hate it so much when ppl only seem to adore Jim. Dont get me wrong its credit he richly deserves. But comeone, why does it seem everyone forgets about the other 3 members of the band. John, Ian and Robby were responsible for the instrumental brialliance and the unique 'Doors sound' we still enjoy nowadays. Thats why I find it often hard to deal with the fact ppl dont see that the Doors is so much more then only Jim! <3 the Doors :)
