My current PC was around 300€. Yes, it's more expensive than the actual PS3 or X360. But way more powerful, and guess what, It's a PC! It can do many more things. It is able to run Crysis 2 maxed out at a better framerate (and looking better) than PS3. I guess that speaks for itself. For me anything below 45fps is too painful for my eyes (but that's my taste) , you see all the jitter. Most of console games are in the 25~30FPS zone, except racing games. Those usually have a higher framerate.

you clearly didn't get my point. Xbox 360 does win in some graphical aspects, while PS3 wins in others. (as for example, draw distance.) Yes it is giving devs a run for their money, I didn't say the opposit or did I? What I said is that consoles are bottlenecking new gaming possibilities. Of course it's still a profitable platform, there are new games coming out every year. Any one who tries to compare pc gaming to console gaming is stupid. Think about what your saying bro, you can't upgrade the ram or graphics card on a console so of course a pc is going to be better graphically and shier game size wise. But try buying a computer the same price as our consoles and not upgraded and try to say it better like that, which I highly doubt.

I can't wait for them to release the next generation of xbox and ps3, to the PC's sake. PC's are getting so overpowered right now that they can run the most PS3 and X360 intensitive games in a breeze, and developers aren't going to create more intensitive - both in gameplay and graphics - games if the consoles are keeping them bottlenecked to ridiculous limits that aren't acceptable nowadays. At least Crysis 3 is finally going to include tesselation - which is a massive improvement already.
