Google's Privacy Policy Change Is Freaking Me Out

...

You ask "where do u ...

You ask "where do u think they get their money?" .. 1. Adwords - Ads based on whats been searched .. 2. network words such as banners people place on blogs and websites.. 3. their own sites such as youtube... 4. they are publicly traded companies so mostly from investors ... none of these things require details about my personal life so STFU

I find that google ...

I find that google tracking everything and letting everyone see what your doing.. pretty sick.. I have a roommate.. who likes to see what im doing.. I find it disqusting.. and stalker like. Its sick. He's not even family related.. it's gross..

funny how you pop ...

funny how you pop out after 2 months with this reply still being unable to comprehend the simplest. "NOTHING HAS CHANGED" - wrong. Informations from wider scope of services (including phone calls) are now merged to profile individual users in more detailed way. It's a big change. "P.S. You do realize that Youtube is a Google product, right? Why are you here, unless you WANT to be profiled?" - this has been the most retarded of your statements so far.

I do have other ...

I do have other things to do, unlike you it seem; I don't reply to random stranger's internet comments hours after a two month hiatus (sorry, vacation =P) It's easy. Set your homepage to something else. Install Ghostery / Adblock / NoScript into Firefox or Chrome, then block all Google products and subsidiaries (or just block them all, since there's a ton of companies doing the same). For those who don't mind, they get a good search engine and gmail free.

Are you on Facebook ...

Are you on Facebook? Twitter? Do you use any free ad-based applications on your mobile phone? If so, all these companies are "selling" your information (Well, not really - they're selling advertisements based on your info; they want to keep your info private so no other company can do the same) Where do you think these people get the money to run their services?

Again, your point ...

Again, your point was the "new" data pooling due to the policy merge; I'm simply telling you NOTHING HAS CHANGED over the past several years. They have been doing this for ages, and nobody's really complained until now. re phone: You still haven't pointed out that the OLD policy didn't contain this clause. If they've always had it, why didn't you complain then? P.S. You do realize that Youtube is a Google product, right? Why are you here, unless you WANT to be profiled?

you, because it ...

you, because it means that there are actually more places where sensitive data are used for unnecessary profiling ppl and then it took you 2 Mad months to reply. Get a life.

Google Voice ...

Google Voice doesn't require an Android phone. It's accessible via a your web browser (google_com/voice) or other mobile platforms (google_com/mobile/voice). I used that specific example because you said you didn't. Who's the idiot now?

GOOGLE IT! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, REAL LIFE AWAITS...

i don't live in America so the feds (F.B.I.) can't touch me... can't touch this.. hammer time.... lol...

If a stranger ...

If a stranger walked up to you and asked for your personal you would be outraged. At least the stranger asked Google just takes it and makes money on it. Already credit bureau's and insurance companies are using the info that is being obtained from those little 99 cent apps people download.

That's a rather ...

That's a rather simplistic comment since it is almost impossible to use a computer and avoid them. Can you say monopoly. It is truly amazing how willing people are giving up their privacy. Google knows everything about you and can do what ever they want. People should know that Google has one of the poorest security records and as a history of being hacked. Did you know the Gov. can access Google info without a warrant. Sleep well America.
