So many stars today, used bits and pieces of stuff from old songs written by better less "sex-focused" stars who were there just for the music and not for the fashion or sake of over-entertaining their fans. Honestly my music teacher taught me well, because no one plays much music anymore, they just work as the dj, and hold the stupid microphone and show-off their mediocre dance skills(copied from someone else) to make millions of dollars to spend on flashy material!!!

For example when, Lady Gaga's talking about loving yourself and the way you're born, Katy Perry's talking about being a firework, but with nearly the same message, which isn't bad exactly, but then you have so many people comparing them both to Madonna! And Madonna as you should know does not like Lady Gaga, she thinks she's redactive, meaning a repetative rip-off!

I agree... its great that I can actually relate to people here AMEN.. And I hate everything about this generation.. Clothes, type of people, tv shows and espicially the music.. Im a 17 year old girl, and I grew up with this music because my dad would blast the stereo when I was a little baby with all his 80's music.. I loved it ever sense.. I wish I could just live in the 1960's, find love, make music, and live my happy life...

I remember when I was little and I first heard The Cars. My mom listened to them a lot back then. God, they were the shit! We still have their albums, but Mom doesn't really listen to them anymore. I think it hurts her to hear Ben's voice now that he's gone. It hurts me too, but I just try to remember all the joy I had when I first discovered them. They've never gotten old for me. Without Ben, though... The Cars do not sound so good! :'[
