This competition is strange: all of the participants have not received any mail that notifies the submission. It is possible that Google/Youtube does not have an automated system that responds: «Thank you for participating»?. Now gets out a user who has entered the video 1 weeg ago (the submission closed on 31 march) which has received this notification. So am I to think the worst or is there something wrong? Tomorrow we will see these famous 50 finalists (perhaps) but doubts remain. Too many.

Possibile che un colosso simile non abbia un sistema automatizzato che risponda: «Grazie per aver partecipato»?. Ora esce fuori un utente che ha iscritto il video l'altro ieri, a iscrizioni chiuse, che ha ricevuto questa famosa notifica. Allora sono io a pensar male o c'è qualcosa che non va? Domani vedremo questi famosi 50 finalisti (forse) ma i dubbi rimangono. Troppi.

I, on the other hand, am not above begging for more views :) Please check my entry out. I just viewed yours and liked it very much. I've seen a lot of pretty derivative stuff, but your story seems like a fresh take on a familiar genre. The earth itself brings on the apocalypse as an act of rebellion... is that about right? It's like human beings are a virus and the earth is releasing antibodies to kill us off...

I hope I'm wrong but I wonder whether the semi-finalists were told not to say anything until audience voting officially opens. That way no one has an opportunity to generate momentum for their project before the voting process begins...

I'm not going to sit and ask for views, I'm not going to tell you how amazing my short is, or how long it took us to complete it.. All I'm asking for is some sort of notification, or acknowledgement that it made it into the festival! Or at least an update as to why no one has heard from you guys at all! Please, something!
