@1488Dog. Oh we have alot of towns in Sweden which can be traced back to the Viking age, Towns that are much older then both Kiev and Novgorod. But sadly the Swedes back then werent united under one king, But divided into different smalled Nations and often raided eachother. Birka for an example, Was long the biggest town in Northern Europe but some retards from the same(!!) area decided to raid it since they werent allowed in the town because they were warriors.
