Mujahideen were also financially backed by numerous countries, mainly the US. In this current time, that is non existent -- therefore the lack of financial support renders the comparison irrelevant. This war drained the Soviet economy drastically.

yes, i have seen navy seals movies. but those are movies, not real. i do agree seals have an awesome force but the russians train much harder, unlike the united states.as for war,the u.s. military prefer to withdraw than to win. the united state just don't have the desire to fight long wars.
