We actually did try to record the last one we saw with my mom's phone, but my brother didn't do something right, because it didn't record anything. I'll try to keep my own camera charged and ready for the next time we spot one, but I'm not too worried about it. Nothing I could capture could compare to the good stuff. Now, if my mom had a camera with her the time she drove right under one, that would've been good. It was no more than 50 yards above her on our road.

Hey, in case anyone is interested, everyone in my immediate family, including myself, has seen UFOs in our area. We are in the Middle Georgia area (near Macon and Warner Robins), and we have seen quite a few in the past year or so. We had never seen any before moving down here, but they seem pretty common now. In fact, I was just watching one last night, and saw another (or the same) one in the same part of the sky tonight. And that's just one example. We've seen a lot more than that.

continued) I wrote this story to MUFON, and never got a reply. It was such a close encounter, you could have picked up a small pebble and tossed it up and hit the bottom. The experience lasted around a minute or so, as it drifted away over the tree line. Whatever this thing was, I have never seen anything like it before or after. It's hard going through life knowing that you witnessed something so important, and not a single person believes you or takes you serious.

What I saw, was not distant lights. What I saw back in 1979 changed who I am to this day. Just south of Atlanta, in my backyard, I witness a flying space craft within 15ft above my head. It was circular and about 25ft in diameter. It had four large dome like lights on bottom, and they were glowing a milky white. The craft was dark, maybe black metallic. It made no noise, but a humming feeling, like heavy bass on a stereo. It was literally floating 15ft above my head.
