Just finished reading this book, and as a lifelong fan of Stephen King, I think this is his best so far. He understands the human condition better than any other auther today. (In my opinion). p.s. Dale Barbara Rocks!!!!.

This man once called himself the "burger and fries" of the literature world. I have to disagree. He's the world class steak cooked by Marco Pierre White and served in a 5 star hotel of the literary world.

I agree. I'm currently reading 11.22.63, and I'm being completely blown away. I love The Stand, but Under the Dome and 11.22.63 (so far) are better to me. Maybe because their newer, or they appeal to me more, but I love them. Not that I don't love The Stand, I do, but not as much as Under the Dome.

@NicksHorrorReviews I hear you. But even before I found out he came up with it first, I liked how he took something that was in the Simpsons and made is very serious. If I were there I'd hate being trapped with those "Police", that was one of the most disturbing parts for me.

Continued... In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with these comparisons, that's how SK got to be such a great writer. Again it's just my opinion. I'm just saying, relax, take it in stride, it's ok man.
@NicksHorrorReviews ...
@NicksHorrorReviews People actually seriously compared this to the Simpsons movie? Ha ha. That's funny. I get what you're saying, I just wouldn't take it so seriously. Stephen King has a great sense of humor in my opinion. I think he'd laugh. Personally, I always thought of a very old movie I saw, where everyone in Washington D.C.? I think, were stuck behind an invisible wall and were like pets to an unseen force. The two do not compare in any way really, it just came up in my memory
Yeah. Both the ...
Yeah. Both the covers for the hardcover and the paperback were beautiful. I'd judge the book off of that any day.

How could Michael C. Hall play Junior? He is 40, and Junior was 20-something.
