At the moment I have a matte screen and it's amazing, but I also like glossy screens. If you're like me and are in a dark room it doesn't matter. Glossy screens have amazing color compared to matte it's the truth. I never had a problem with my glossy monitor, until my sister broke it by throwing a pillow at it.

I have the hi-res anti glare and I can't say I have ever noticed any difference in the colours as everything still looks equally amazing. It is however nice not having to worry about reflections from lights or other sources... I will admit though, the silver boarder of the anti glare does not look anywhere near as polished or nice as the black glossy boarder; its not quite as nice for watching movies on...

This video has helped me, I am looking into both screens, I can see here the glossy is annoying. The reflections are terrible I couldn't stand that. And when paying £1500 for a laptop I must get it right its to much money to get it wrong. Ok the glossy colours are better but you see that when there side by side, your never gonna use them side by side so your not gonna notice. And the benefits of antiglare out weigh the benefits of the richer colours massively!!!
