i went ice skating from 5:45 till 6:30 then i went iceskating again from 7 to 9. Yeah it was packed only for 15mins of fireworks

I find it hard to ...
I find it hard to enjoy fireworks- they bring to mind the terrible incident that maimed my younger brother when I was 13YO. Me & a buddy 'aimed' a lit rocket at him as he ran around squealing- but sadly it went off, the charge shooting into his open mouth. Its explosion dismembered much of his lower face- but MORE painful was the long-term damage done to our family. My parents shunned me, & over the years we drifted apart- ultimately I blame this incident for my own 3 failed marriages.
