although i do not agree with Russia's decision to vote against a NATO resolution in the Syrian revolution i do see Russia's side to the conflict. Putin wants Syria to have a peaceful transition to democracy by the Arab league urging Assad to do what his country wants. He is also saying that we were lucky that the intervention in Libya didn't get any worse. The chances of Iran taking Syria's side is very high and the american backed NATO doesn't need that.
