To the skeptics, do a youtube search for "forearm forklift." The Consumer Reports review of this infomercial will show up within 1-2 results of this video. Their conclusion? While the straps will not turn you into superman they are effective. They even have some office worker women with no lifting experience try to lift items and are able to lift items they normally wouldn't.
I had three large ...
I had three large dressers delivered frrom jc penny recently. The delivery men used these things and I was amazed at how easy it looked for them to bring these pieces into my house. these are professional movers mind you. No, I don't think it's a scam. I'm convinced this is a good product.

I wonder how many people got paid to make a youtube profile and comment on these videos to try and advertise the product. luvusa10 I'm looking at you.

To all the skeptics out there: I work as a professional mover. These straps work great. When I first started I myself doubted the effectiveness of these straps, but after using them one time I found out what an advantage they can be. In my experience, the only people that don't like them are either people that have not used them, or people that don't know how to use them properly. I have used them for huge entertainment centers, washers, driers, refrigerators, etc. Worked great every time. And

I recently purchased these at Home Depot after seeing the commercial and I was really impressed as to how well they actually worked. I'm a 5'2 " lady and I used them to carry a washer from the inside of the house to the garage with the help of my elderly mother and we were able to use them easily. It took some time to get used to them but they're very practical and affordable.

I saw the commercial not so long ago and I recently just purchased a pair at a Uhaul and at first I was hesitant they would actually work but once I tried them with the help of my wife to move a new stainless steel refrigerator, I was impressed as I don't think my wife would of been able to help me if it wasn't for these. Great product

While the much more ...
While the much more expensive shoulder models are definitely safer and more comfortable, I wouldn't worry about forearms snapping in normal situations. In arm wrestling, you have uneven accelerating forces, which is not the case here. Furthermore, you arms are moving in an unnatural direction (side to side; moving outward is especially unnatural -- just try it). I can't go more than 15 deg outward. However, the forearm can easily bend upward completely.
You skeptics have ...
You skeptics have to keep several things in mind: 1) Despite the misnomer, the forearm is not lifting! It's merely supporting, being "hooks" for the straps. It's the legs (back and hips) that lift. 2) In fact, very little arm muscle is used. You don't even have to use any effort to flex/bend your arms because the furniture is preventing it from unbending. 1) A 200 lb item means that each forearm is only SUPPORTING (NOT lifting) 50 lbs (200 / 4). That's just 10 bags of sugar

wrote "Your back is stronger than your forearms are. It is a thing called leverage. If you can't pick up 50 lbs. with your forearms" You're misrepresenting the mechanics. Your legs (and back and hips) do the lifting, not the forearm. The forearm/elbow is only used to hook the straps. That's why it has to already be in the bent position when the item is lifted (by your legs). The forearms don't bend to lift the item. I have a $7 ripoff from eBay and we've lifted 200lbs easily.
@Crateapa12 Yeah, I ...
@Crateapa12 Yeah, I would rather have straps over my shoulders. Check out a few of the arm wrestling/arm snapping videos on YouTube, and then imagine the same thing happening while you are lifting a refrigerator or something bigger.
I bought one at ...
I bought one at Walgreens in their as-seen-on-TV section. It really does work just like you see in this video. I had to order that free extension though, it doesn't come with it if you buy it in a store, had to pay $5 shipping but well worth it. We moved mattresses, washer and dryer, a couch, dressers, and all were super easy. It is way better than a hand truck, steps and stairs are no problemo.

I have been using the Forearm Forklift for over 10 years, GREAT product. My partner and I lifted a 900 pound computer tower one time using them. I have even used them as cinch straps when I have to rig furniture and I still use the same set that I bought in the beginning. It amazes me that people like bigsid4u want to condemn this product without trying it. Amazing product, congratulations.
