Good point, doing Graffiti on private property owned by an individual should remain illegal. HOWEVER graffiti should be allowed IMO on public property (ie. property not owned by a single individual), because 1) Graffiti is an art-form and is cultural expression, something that is beneficial to society, and 2) Graffiti on public property when legal would be fully open. If you didn't like someones public Graffiti then cover it with your own stuff. Everyone would be involved. No stigma, No risk.

You only breed resentment and bitterness. This shit is costing $20billion (that is a stack of $100 bills 72,000 feet high) every year that could be putting art back into education.

I appreciate the civility. I really want an honest dialoge. So why is it ok on some guys shop?... or anyplace you can't call "yours"? I have been a breadwinning painter for the past 30 years and can't imagine making making my art by first making a victim. This is costing $20billion per year that we could be putting into arts education or public art. I paint big, murals and understand the passion of working large, but put it on a canvas and you have a way of paying your bills.
