I like the McLaren much better than the Veyron but I have to admit in another video Richard Hammond had spoken that he didn't have it floored. VW used such engine not because they needed to but because they wanted to and even if we forget that there's no space on the F1 to put such engine putting that much power on it would surely break it/make it uncontrollable, all the serious tests agree that the 627hp it had are too much for its chassis, after all it was designed to have 550hp. PS: Mclaren doesn't make engines; the F1 used a BMW engine and the new MP4-12C uses a Ricardo engine (Formula 1 engine builder).

People think all they need is the money to pay for the car... But then there is the running costs aswell. To buy these things, you need to really not give a fuck what it costs. These cars are for people that are tired of all the Ferraris and Lamborghinis in their garage. Bugatti aimed their cars at the "market" where people are worth 300 million dollars and up. Which is the market where social issues like financial crisis doesnt really matter.

The Mclaren was king for about 15 years, and only just lost to the veyron. all the technology gained it 10mph. 10! And with the mclaren weighing less it handles better, so in a circuit race the mclaren would win. Plus mclaren has 3 seats, which makes it more practical, i mean think of the amount of shopping you can get in it! :D
