ECU only acts up when the MAF doesnt have the proper piping, or air flow is significantly different. Most people cut the stock intake pipe before the MAF and clamp a ram intake onto that without any cel whatsoever.

If anything blame Mitsubishi because besides the Garetts the 2.0Ts use Mitsubishi TD04HL turbos. Neither of them are poor quality, its the recirculation...and it still lasts longer than most if you take care of it right.

Whatever, GM gave Saab one of the best 4 cylinder engines ever built. An Ecotec. Everything else basically stayed the same as what Saab would have done otherwise.
