Bruce Lee was the first to say there is no secret, and you just have to know yourself and your opponent. No MMA rules allow some of the most potent weapons of jeet kune do, and while grappling is very effective and elegant, it is far from ideal to use against multiple opponents if said opponents have good notions. To think Bruce Lee neglected grappling is ridiculous, but he was conscious of its limitations.

lol you're a joke. the entire martial art system of jeet kune do originated from Bruce Lee. Where do you think he pulled martial arts teachings out of his ass if he was just an actor. He also trained in wing chun and judo. but jeet kune do, the way of the intercepting fist, he developed that as a result of everything he'd learned to apply it in a realistic situation in the streets, hence why he didn't participate in any tournaments as they had too many limitations.
