I've done this flight from Dubai to New York City JFK before. Because with Emirates, once you turn 12 years old, you do NOT need to travel by yourself with the unnaccompanied minor service. I first flew to Dubai with my dad and his Russian girlfriend for Christmas and stayed with them from Dec. 20-Dec. 27 and rented a vacation rental furnished apartment right by the ocean in Dubai. Then, on Dec. 27, I flew on this exact flight by myself from Dubai to JFK NY to meet my mom and grandma

i have actually but that was in 2006 and it was average back then but possibly it has improved much more which is why it is the current worlds best airline according to skytrax. what made me say the comment about emirates being the worlds best airline is the cool entertainment system, the onboard shower facility and emirate's first class. that is pretty cool
